[old project about telepresence]
(Presence = Man +) Prosthesis,
an installation
Man is a technical being, has ever been, now feeling more and more disjointed from its ever more complex technical prostheses, as it is at the same time growing together with them more and more. In the installation, a smartphone will measure the (invisible) signals/waves that we and our digital prostheses, our smartphones, emit in the room, defining our analog and digital presence/identity/entirety. Through various “actors” the measured data will then be live displayed/transferred in an analog material to make them tangible and visible.
