The uploaded pictures are photos of a paper model of a room and the model's actual dimensions are about 40 x 60 x 26 cm. This interior is part of a series of three rooms which are connected. The building of the model is still in progress and there are some parts (furniture, details) that are still missing. The idea behind this pictures is to make a video in this interior. The camera will be moving slowly into the space and at some point it will stay still for a while. All the changes in the video will be just very discrete movements of the object or changes regarding the lights, or some shadows (hints of human presence in space). In this video I will work with video tracking in the model and also with stop-motion technique. | The uploaded pictures are photos of a paper model of a room and the model's actual dimensions are about 40 x 60 x 26 cm. Phillip: analogue captcha
What if captchas get part of our analog world in case that there are just as much androids as real human beings on the planet?
Philipp: Smartphones in Movies
In this collection of images I will show how the understanding of particular movies would have changed using smartphones.
I will show that even using this modern technics can be a huge failure.
Furthermore how Smartphones would have changed history if they played a major role back then.
Catalina: Miniaturized
I am what is around me - Wallace Stevens (fragment of the poem "Theory")
Objects & Apparitions (fragment)
"Monuments to every moment,
refuse of every moment, used:
cages for infinity.
Marbles, buttons, thimbles, dice, pins,
stamps, and glass beads:
tales of the time."
-Octavio Paz-
Georgios: Paper Interiors
The idea is to create an interior space consisting of three different rooms, the attribute of which is not clear. I am interested in mixing different kinds of objects/ symbols in this office-like environment and present a juxtaposing view of it. I am particularly interested in expressing the uncanny element of architectural spaces and the transactions taking place in working environments.
