My Project: Music visualisation with euglena or waterfleas
I want to finde out if it is possible to make euglena or waterfleas "dance" to music. I am aiming at a audio visual live performance.
Inspiration
- See what euglena movement looks like
- See what it looks like when sound hits water
- Chladni plates are also very inspiring
What to do next?
- Rebuilding Sonic Water to get my hands on cymatics and formations sound waves can build - This DIY tutorial might be handy
// *edit: Watch my first trials here on YouTube
- Get comfortable with the lab, buy water flea and start cultivating
Other Ideas
- It might also be interesting how slime mold grows on Chladni plates with different herz values
- Building a microscope hackteria.org
