I am interested in how people move around in public spaces and research user behavior patterns in public space. For example, when landscape designer planning paths in a park, mostly according to their subjective perspective. My idea is to build simulation scenarios, it will enable participants to walk through the virtual reality of the environments and understand their demand in the public space. On one hand, participants route can be analyzed and recorded by computer and it may be useful for designer’s planning. On the other hand, the public can participate in the design process.
The bagua(eight trigrams )represents the fundamental principles of reality, seen as a range of eight interrelated concepts. Each consists of three lines, each line either "broken" or "unbroken," respectively representing yin or yang. The trigrams have correspondences in astronomy, astrology, geography, geomancy, anatomy, the family, and elsewhere. Bagua represents the early Chinese philosophy, it also has an impact on traditional Chinese medicine, martial arts, music and mathematics.
