This course is designed as an introduction to BioArt unfolding through contemporary concepts and practices in DIY biolab. The introduced artworks will give an idea on how BioArt emerges and how sciences interact with arts. Along the artworks we will discuss questions such as How organisms share their time and space with other organisms? What are the borders between living and non-living? Can, for example, a robot be alive? How to understand a transgenic organism?
