This course is an introduction to the DIY biolab and its uses in relation to artistic practices. We will learn how to follow safety rules, how to cook media for organisms, and how to care for the various organisms. Organisms presented include Acetobacter bacteria, Euglena gracilis flagellates, and Physarum polycephalum slime molds.
