My Personal Algorithm

To order my life, my images and to be able to deal with me, I wrote my own algorithm. It is based on Color. So instead of me hyperventilating during a panic attack i can watch a peacefully, nice moving picture. The pixels are reordered, depending on there hue value. Now it looks more like a horizon, or the sea.

The video is processed trough processing.

you see - nothing.
you see - light.
you see - color.
you see - movement.

the image is gone. now its time for you to explore a new world. don't be afraid - its just a moving picture.

with my glasses and a camera i want to explore the color and the movement of istanbul. then show it to the audience in an installation, where everybody is invited to make discoveries by themselves.

I want to explore the world behind objects, focusing on colour.
Away from the known space with 3 dimensions into a new space.
We are not able to realize something, we can just look.

Is there a specific colour of Istanbul?
How can I discover it?
Is a colour more than just a colour - maybe somehow connected to a story?

I'll find it out.
