THE VANCOUVER CYCLE

'The Vancouver Cycle' is a purely virtual installation concept. The basic logic is plausible, yet doable in reality. Flies that emerge from a animal carcass are collected in a ballon, the flies strive towards a light as one, which later sets them free again as individuals. The Vancouver Cycle is a 'killing machine' with a small option for reincarnation. Since the violent and highly experimental matter of the installation a complete virtual experience seems to be a the ideal here.

But why don't you try it yourself.

The project features a virtual gallery, that creates generative virtual paintings or drawings based on generative patterns.

The gallery will be self-curating, which means it will generate new art and the user will be able to vote for the permutation that appeals to him/her the most, from that input the generative patterns will be directed.

The most appealing artworks will be featured in the main gallery the rest of the gallery will be added to the archive of the gallery.

The final result will be an App based on the Unity3D Engine featuring the Oculus Rift (VR HMD)[1].
