Description
Web-Based Media: Intermediate Web Development III is a graduate-level investigation into the design and production of web-based media. Topics will include: responsive web development, client side scripting (JavaScript), server side programming (PHP), working with databases (MySQL), WebSockets, and mobile web design. This is a student-driven course and topic will be determined by the interests/needs of the class. For students with previous experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Admission requirements
Concurrent enrollment in another IFD course offering, or with instructor permission. Previous experience with Web Development and working knowledge of front-end and back-end development practices.

Evaluation
Successful completion of the course is dependent on regular attendance, active participation, completion of weekly assignments and delivery of a relevant semester project. Please refer to the Evaluation Rubric for more details.
