Idee/Idea
Im ersten Innenhof des Museums Reattu sollen kleine Soundinstallationen entstehen, die den Besucher der Nacht der Museen in die Klangkunst einführt und ihn überhaupt erst empfindsam für Sound macht.
I want to create small sound-installations at the first inner courtyard of the museum Reattu. So the visitor will get in touch with sound and is sensitized for it.
Maria/Mary
Die Maria hält das Jesus-Kind auf dem Arm. Aus einem versteckten Lautsprecher soll Klangkunst aus Baby-Geschrei ertönen. Dabei durchläuft es den üblichen Zyklus eines Babys – Aufwachen, Aufmerksamkeit verschaffen, Geschrei, Stillen, allerdings in entfremdeter Form.
Mary retains Jesus Christ. Out of a hidden speaker shall ring out sound art made of baby crying. In the process it passes through the usual cycleof a baby – wake up, call attention, crying, breastfeeding, but in estranged form.

Affenbrotbaum/Baobab
Hintergrund/Background
Der Affenbrotbaum ist das Wahrzeichen des Museums Reattu. Der Baum trägt besondere Früchte, welche zum Logo des Museums gemacht wurden. Diese haben im Inneren lose Kerne, die gegen die Außenwand schlagen.
The Baobab is the museum's emblem. It has special fruits, which is taken as Reattu's logo. They are filled with grains and thus shake free inside.
Installation/Installation
Der Affenbrotbaum soll mit 5 Lautsprechern bestückt werden, aus diesen alle paar Minuten eine Mehrkanal-Klangkomposition ertönt. Die Komposition wird ausschließlich aus Klängen der Früchte des Affenbrotbaums bestehen.
The Baobab shall be equipped with five speakers. They will play a multichannel sound-composition every few minutes. The composition is made entirely out of sounds of the Baobab's fruits.

The exibition is at first inner courtyard: "Cour C/Paves". But I need a place to air from with electric current.
