The change in our media consumption behaviour throughout the last decades has more of an impact than we might expect. A former collective music experience is sacrificed in favour of more self-determination, which leads to an isolated music experience. It seems there is no tool that combines the advantages of both.
Democratic Djing is an experiment to experience a collective music experience while providing a democratic way of interaction.
Websockets enable (almost) real-time interactions between clients and server
The music stream is synchronised between the clients, creating a fake livestream that can be modified again by every participant.
