La Grand Pelea

Performance multimedia that research into the cultural differences between Brazil and Mexico through direct confrontations among the audience and the performers.
The performance has two parts, in the first one the performers are going to confront the audience and in the second one the performers are going to confront between them. Various are the meanings of this research: cultural, personal, idiomatic and genre roles.
There are two costumes made with sensors that gave us information about the physical touch in the performers and force in one arm. With those, the performers are going to interact with the audience in an arm wrestling that triggers and mixes videos and music from Brazil and Mexico. We locate in the space tow tables for that. The second part the confrontation will represent a more personal vision about the same subjects, the videos and the sound will be trigger by the touch between the performers wile they are fighting and punching.
