The first step I took was to search for as much information as possible on nematodes and euglena. Here are the links to some of the videos I liked the most:
-How do Flagelates move - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDWbId0MAmU&list=PLIMyGFURdZRyd-czGIEpeW6F_HkQxp-Rv&index=2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI7nEWUjk3A
I found interesting the different ways in which euglenas move, It reminded me of leaves falling from trees, and though about doing an installation of forms like euglena that hanging, move with each airwave.
-How nematodes are captured and eaten -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6g3OjkhClE
-Facts about nematodes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBWzrlCBhCM
-Nematodes and some diseases some of them may cause on plants and humans https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrogAKO3dhI
I considered the idea of coming up with new species of nematodes based on emotional or psichological situactions, kind of like "butterflies in the stomach" but with nematodes, and describing their way of action based on the way they (emotional or psichological situactions) unfold.

-Different elements and textures seen under the microscope
Some images I got from experimenting with the microscope with home found objects during quarantine:
Trahs can perspective
Euglenas look like a plastic bag full of vegetables, took pictures for several days of the inside of our home garbage can... if "you are what you eat" the "homemade euglenas " would be somehow a self portrait.
Took about recreating takes of euglenas seen in the microscope with images of the "homemade euglenas"
Trash bags drawings Drawings of garbage bags seen in the street
People walking
Tried to record and analyze the movement patterns of people walking in the street, to develop further ideas.
