Steps to take into account

Guidelines

  • check roughly what is the expected size (pages) for the applications
  • what are the expected amounts of grants
  • do they have place for additional documentation
  • what will be taken in mind by evaluating the application? memorise important keywords
  • what will be funded and what not? -- think of the budget lines
  • are there any collaborations expected?
  • what forms need to be filled up? download before starting to draft the application

Writing

  • Copy all questions to a google doc or alternative with an expected characters to answer them
  • Fill up all the answers in parallel
  • While drafting an application try answering questions: why? what? when?

"why" usually is split into three parts: a) background b) innovative take c) impact; "what" is the tangible result in terms of formats/activities; "when" is the list of activities during the project;
