My aim in this project show is to explore the relationship between humans and machines. Who is controlling whom in a human-machine system? While humans are trying to control the machinery, his behavior could also be interpreted. The machines here can be installation, electronics and visualization made by smart devices. I am going to build an interactive visualization show based on Multi-human Behavior. The behavior will be designed to integrate into an installation or platform, and the behavior will produce connections and confliction in a visual way between humans.
Sound can be a graph which has its own pattern, Sound is also the medium that we humans are using to communicate, what if we visualize the sound, and what if sound can be used in a way to communicate other than language. In my plan, I want to build an interactive installation with several microphones set in this platform to serve for visitors to come to speak out any voices they want, and generating their own voices patterns or visualized sounds on the screen. The interesting thing will be the visualized patterns can interfere with the ones of other visitors’. The patterns will be possible to combine to form a more colorful, kinetic graphics, but there can also be confliction generated in between. Under this circumstance, the visitors may start to chase the entertainment, and their voices and choices of microphones may differ through this process. They won’t come to realize their behaviors are actually interfered by their experience in this interactive process. However, the expression of the visualization reacted to their voices will be the key to this interactive installation.
