Channel 16 by Grit Lieder

Emergencies at sea are communicated via Radio. Channel 16 is the frequency for those situations. However, there is no Channel 16 for every body or every species. Living in Europe, the loudest call for help I ever received came from the Mediterranean Sea. In 2018 I traveled there. I met people trying to save the ocean, I met people trying to save other people. I never encountered both at the same time. That’s just one of the Mediterranean oddities I discovered. Today I open a channel for all: A distress and de-stress signal, coming from and from within the Mediterranean Sea.
