Die durchschnittliche Plastikflasche verbraucht in ihrer Produktion mehr Frischwasser als sie je halten kann. Als Massenprodukt steht sie somit beispielhaft für unsere gesellschaftliche Nicht-Nachhaltigkeit. Daraus entstand die Zielsetzung, weitere Anwendungsfelder für diese Form zu finden, weil sie nicht nur mehr leisten kann, sondern sogar muss. Das entstandene Lichtsystem ist beliebig erweiterbar und dient als Visualisierung des eigenen Konsums.

The average plastic bottle consumes more fresh water in its production than it can ever hold. As a mass product, it is therefore exemplary for our societal non-sustainable waste. This is precisely why the aim was to find further fields of application for this product, not only because it can do more, but also because it should. The developed light system is infinitely expandable and serves as a visualisation of one‘s own consumption.
