During this project, I optimized zip fasteners.
Because of new textiles it is possible to develop very lightweight gear today, for example tents.
Many manufacturers of lightweight tents resign zips for their lightest models because they are still quite heavy.
A second aspect was to create a zip that is more long-lasting.
Developing the tape: first calculations, sketches, CAD and 3D print.
