During the second part of this short project I designed different variations:
The rotationally symmetrical structure makes it possible to fuse the outline (ergonomics) and the square cross-section in the centre of the structure (engineering) into one shape that resembles rotation.
The section in the middle of the structure can also be used for different cross-sections, e.g. for bolts.
The outline of the structure can also be adjusted to different needs.
The final prototype with six corners was printed thicker to allow for better grip and a more comfortable turning. By using the square cross-section, the prototype can already be used together with regular stopcocks.
