In conversation with the interdisciplinary artist Masimba Hwati from Zimbabwe, we introduce the first day of generations.fm, which is dedicated to the question of how we deal with memory and heritage. Masimba Hwati is currently a fellow at the Radio Art Residency in Weimar. In his radio project, he explores the role of guerrilla radio stations at the time of the liberation war in Zimbabwe.
