Wahrnehmungslabor »Störung im System«

In the first semester of the art education program, a foundational artistic and design project titled "Disruption in the System" is offered. This project serves as an experimental field for perception and aims to examine everyday objects and phenomena in an exemplary manner.

Fundamentals of artistic practice and design are explored practically and through perception theory, in direct engagement with materials and one's own body in space. The focus is on understanding contemporary art, strategies of art, as well as the technical foundations of design disciplines and art.

The project includes experimental, performative, and group-oriented exercises to stimulate creative impulses. Additionally, students engage in their first independently executed artistic project, which is presented in an exhibition at the end of the first semester.
