Record participation at Bauhaus Spring School 2025!

The fourth edition of Bauhaus Spring School took place from February 27 to March 8 - this time with a record participation of 222 participants from over 20 nations!

During the interdisciplinary Spring School courses, students collaborated creatively, learned together and engaged in intercultural exchange. In the course “Design as Information: Enhancing Communication and Research”, for example, participants explored the question of how information can be communicated through design. By contrast, “Reflexions and Refractions: when glass meets light” focused on the aesthetic interplay between glass and light, while the “Zero Carbon | Zero Waste” course dealt with topics relating to sustainable and environmentally friendly architecture. The participants were proudly presented the results of their work to a wide audience at the “Open Ateliers” on March 7.

Of course, there was also time for relaxation, fun and leisure alongside the courses. The program included excursions to the region, guided tours in Weimar, film evenings and karaoke. The cooperation with the Klassikstiftung also enabled the participants to visit the Weimar museums. On the last evening, the students came together for a farewell party at “Mascha” and looked back on their time together with music, dancing and lots of good humor.
