Together with the Lernraum.Bauhaus-Team we will explore the applicability of immersive walk-throughs and evaluation techniques for architectural education.

In the "Neufert 4.0" project, artificial intelligence methods are being developed to derive knowledge (so-called design heuristics) from existing floor plans to support user-oriented design of residential buildings.

With the goal to leverage the potential of digital methods for sustainable urban mobility planning in Ethiopia, INUMO takes an interdisciplinary approach between the fields of traffic planning, computer science and urban planning in order to develop and test new methods for integrated urban mobility.

In this project we are developing Virtual Reality based evaluation methods for user-centered architectural design. Together with our practice partner Deutsche Bahn Station & Service AG we are testing the applicability of these methods for integrating citizen-feedback into the design of train stations.
