Microbes planet of Weimar
"1. Introduction" Cultivate the pattern series using known Staphylococcus, Ecoli, Streptococcus, etc and unknown bacterias which were collected from several landmarks of the university. Inspired by a piece of artwork made by Graig Ward from an American art group who's research on basis of a society legend that using handrails on subways feels like a method of shaking hands with 100 people.
Following the protocol of process the activities.
- Six Medium dishes with agar / Peptone / Extract Yeast mixture environment as preparation for growing bacteria.
- Collect microbes from bacteria breeding spot of landmarks such as library, dorm, the main building, Getting by cutting sponges and drew with cotton swabs on each surface of six agar plates.
- Use coloured gel somehow to make it more like a artificial pattern. ps: still leaves the question about methods to make it coloured.
- Place Building sketch map under petri dishes and mark each place with sinogram.

05.12.17 The first phase.
Sterilized wet cotton swabs and sponges are smeared back and forth on handrails, lockers, etc. Dust included. Put them into empty medical bottles. Interference factors are not allowed. Keep bottles under fourExample.ogg degree in case of growing so fast.
06.12.17 Build the Reaction.
Take out the swabs in room temperature, dissolving the CaSOAgar powder into water and obtain the mixture of proportion in 1:25. Heat it for about 45mins for being the completely solution. Pour the liquid into Petri dishes and leave it for 30mins to cool it down to coagulation. We'll see a transparently pudding-like medium dish in light yellow which means the preparation of tools to next step_drawing. Then I draw some star and planet patterns on surface of this jelly with bacterias on head of swabs. Feel like baking birth-cake by self bring with both appetite and aesthetic standard. Seal it with lab binding tapes and put it into 25degree in autoclave.
08.12.17 Check the sample.
Somehow partially tiny yellow/white/orange spots appear. Nothing else difference displays exterior of the drawing hole. the third day
