Myco-Tetris is an engaging and interactive participative innovation project that aims to involve a broader audience in manufacturing using circular materials, specifically fungal composites. The project also seeks to stimulate further research in biotechnology.
By breaking down the barrier between the public and the exhibit, visitors are encouraged to touch and arrange the pieces in a playful manner. This hands-on activity not only sparks creativity but also encourages active participation. As participants engage in building activities, they are prompted to consider sustainable design questions and think critically about our current system.
Myco-Tetris invites visitors to engage in a variety of activities, including playing the game, building sculptures, learning about Fungi and sustainability, finding inspiration, and designing and prototyping their own ideas by joining the team. This participation contributes to co-design efforts and applied research in fungal biotechnology.
