Fungi grows inside bags for mass production
Material used for my project: mirrors and selfmade wire hangers
Forming my mirror frame and using saran wrap as the negative space
same procedure for the jewlery, also implementing the wire hangers so it grows around it
Fomes Fomentarius has successfully grown, now the saran wrap got removed to let it fully age and dry
Last step is to craft. By using wire the fungi was wrapped in an aesthetic way. For some of the jewlery beads got implemented.
