Fachmodul
Lecturer:
Isabella Lee Arturo
When: Monday 13:30 - 16:30
Description:
This course allows students to explore the integration of spoken and written words into interactive performances and art installations.
It will offer an experimental playground for using speech recognition and live transcription technologies, allowing spoken language to be translated to text in real-time.
The use of voice in performances bridges symbolic and embodied experiences, and allows the artist to practice through poetic, satirical, and political expressions. At the end of the semester, the students will prepare an event for the Summaery 2025 in the style of an “open mic” night, getting the experience of performing with a live audience.

- Creative Explorations of ways to use voice and text in performances.
Participants will collaborate with the students from Ting-Chun Liu’s course <<Unexpected Imageries - programming generative art>>
