The conference provides an interdisciplinary platform for sharing experience in development and application of moisture measurement techniques. The conference will address all problems relevant to both physical concepts and technological
aspects of practical implementation of moisture measurement techniques for qualitative and quantitative determining the amount of water in moist substances. The conference will concentrate on, but is not limited to the following subjects:
1. Applications in civil and process engineering, environmental related topics, agriculture, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil or coal industry, medicine, food industry
and others.
2. Development of moisture measurement techniques
3. Dielectric properties of water in liquid and solid materials and their mixtures as well as in various degrees of binding.
4. Determination and monitoring of moisture in soil, in snow and in waste disposals (climate and environmental related issues).
5. Active and passive microwave remote sensing for soil moisture estimation.
